DESCRIPTION: Instructor Note: These instructions are for iPads. Adjust if using Laptop computers or other devices.
Preparation:&nbsp;Mount an iPad Mini on a stand and ensure that it is tightly set and won&rsquo;t slip out. (Place the clips above and below the horizontal iPad.) Power on the iPad and launch the&nbsp;Stop Motion Studio Pro&nbsp;software from the desktop icon. Choose + to create a New Project. The app will open a filming window containing two panes. The Right pane is the camera view while the Left pane is the playback window.
Demonstrate&nbsp;the camera window in the app. Click the camera icon in the top right corner of the app window to activate the camera feed.
Show&nbsp;how to record a frame by clicking the camera icon. The space bar on the desktop keyboard will also snap a frame.
Remind students that stop-action animation requires set adjustments for frame-at-a-time filming, so the set adjustments each time should be very small.
