What better way to understand what a Hook is than by guessing some famous ones from brands you probably know. In this lesson, you will: ● See how memorable a Hook can be ● Learn from some of the world's best ● See how simple and powerful they can be

Hi, welcome to hooks flows and funnels. My name's George Bradley. And in this lesson, we're going to talk hooks, and we're going to ask the question, what is a hook? Now, before I get into answering that, I just want to play a little bit of a quiz with you. I'm going to show you three hooks, and I want you to try and guess who they are, where they come. I'm guessing that you found that pretty easy.

Am I right? Okay. That's understandable because these brands have spent years and millions and millions of dollars making you recognize and remember that particular hook, but there's stuff We can learn from this. Let's just work through them because there's some great examples here. So from the top, Apple think different. That's such a great why it's kind of Apple's purpose.

It's their reason for being it permeates everything they do from the products they design, to the way that they behave, to their communications to their website is all about being different. It's a huge motivator, probably why that brand is worth absolutely billions. Secondly, McDonald's, I'm loving it. I mean, you don't even have to read it or see, you can actually hear that hook. It's a jingle and if you've heard it on the radio on the TV, you just don't forget it. You know, when you hear it, exactly.

Who's talking L'Oreal because you're worth it. So this hook this has been around for a long time. But it's a great example of how it talks to the customer. It says to the customer, you're worth it. If you think you're worth it. We do As well, it's a great fit between brand and customer.

And finally, Nikes Just do it. I mean, it doesn't get much better than that in terms of motivating someone to get out there and do something that's just about the gold standard. So, I hope you found that little guessing game that little quiz useful and actually quite inspiring. These are great examples. I hope they kind of spur you on and give you lots of learnings that you can use to develop your own hook and I'll see you in the next lesson.
