Hi, welcome to hooks flows and funnels. My name is George Beverly. In this lesson, we're going to talk hooks, and I just want to kick off with a really simple plea to you. And that is make friends with your customers. Sounds really obvious, might sound a bit cheesy, but I want you to think about them in two ways. They're not just the people who are going to buy your products and services and give you the living that you want.
They're also the people that can help you design your services around their particular needs. So when you use the insights or what they think, feel and do, you can make your products and your websites better and more appealing for them. Also, you're not a big corporate, you don't have big committees. No bureaucracy, you don't have to sign 60 forms to talk to a customer. You can do it on a daily basis because you're with them, you're so close to them. You can almost hear and see and feel what they want from you.
So all those insights are going to come into play over the next few weeks when you and I are going to work through these course. So make friends with your customer. You can do it and you can do it better and more effectively than the big corporates and I think that's going to give you a big, big competitive edge. I hope that makes sense. I'll see in the next lesson.
