DESCRIPTION: Change the diaper as soon as the baby defecates and urinates or even if the diaper is kept for a long time on the baby. First, wipe with a wet paper towel, or wash with warm water after stool, then gently dry with a small towel, and finally apply lotion or rashes cream when necessary.
The metabolism of a newborn is much faster when compared to an older child. Hence, their rates of excretion will be more frequent. To understand whether the baby is fed well, it is necessary to record the number of wet diapers and stool each day. Urine should be light in color or colorless and is almost odorless. The table below as a reference helps observe the health and the growth of the babies.
