DESCRIPTION:
Breast milk is an indispensable and ideal food for babies. The various nutrients contained in it are the most suitable for digestion and easy absorption for babies. Therefore, the World Health Organization recommends postpartum breastfeeding for at least six months. During this period it is advised only to give breast milk to the baby and not introduce water or any solid food. Solid food will change the digestive pattern in the baby’s body.
It takes a few days for milk to produce, mothers must wait patiently; caregivers should be highly responsible and caring by giving them more encouragement and support, and explaining some common problems of early breastfeeding to lactating mothers so that they can eliminate their tension.
