DESCRIPTION: Before bathing the babies, it is important to prepare all the necessary items ahead:

Bathtub
Two face cloths
Bath towel
Clean underwear/ clothing
Diapers
Clean swaddle blanket
Baby shower gel
Baby oil, body lotion, and rash ointment (Optional)
Wipe and tissue
Cotton wool ball
Small bowl with warm/ cold boiled water
Bin or trash bag

Keep the room temperature between 24 - 26°C and the water temperature at around 38°C. If a thermometer is unavailable, test the water temperature on the inner side of the elbow to ensure the water temperature is not hot. When adding water to the bathtub, add cold water before hot water. Bath the baby before feeding or at least one hour after feeding.
