DESCRIPTION: 1. The First week - wound healing and lochia discharge
The gastrointestinal function can be recovered about 24 hours after the cesarean section. When the gastrointestinal function is restored, liquid foods such as soup and porridge are the main dishes to be added to the diet on the first day after the cesarean section delivery. On the next two days after the cesarean section delivery, avoid foods that promote flatulence such as egg, rice, milk, soy milk, and sucrose (cane sugar). On the third day and onwards, gradually add semi-liquid food such as gruel, noodle soup.
2. Second week - dietary to prevent back pain
Focus on foods that promote contraction of the uterus and pelvic cavity, kidney, and the restoration of bone density especially the back and the waist. Foods that boost metabolism may help relieve back pain as well as be beneficial to weight loss.
3. Third to the fourth week - replenishment
