DESCRIPTION: 
Store it in a small amount to avoid wasting possibly unfinished milk. Store in 2 to 4 ounces or the amount provided at one feeding
Leave about an inch of space at the top of the container as breast milk will expand when frozen
When providing breast milk to a child care provider, clearly mark the name of the child on the container. Discuss any other requirements for labeling and storing breast milk with the child care provider
When traveling, breast milk can be stored in an insulated cooler with a freezer ice pack for up to 24 hours. Upon arriving at the destination, use the breast milk immediately, or store it in the refrigerator, or freeze it.
