DESCRIPTION: Newborn underwear (including diapers) should be mainly made of soft and easy-absorbent cotton fabrics. It is best not to use chemical fibers or printed and dyed fabrics; the color of the clothes should be light, easy to find dirt, and prevent dyes from irritating the newborn's skin.
The clothes should be as loose as possible, do not hinder physical activities, and be easy to wear and take off. Since a newborn can lose heat from the head which may affect their thermoregulation, it is better to give them a cap to cover the head during winter.
The clothes should be washed and changed frequently, and the diapers should be of better quality and have good air permeability. Note that the underwear or diapers should not be too tight so that the limbs can stretch freely.
