Either. Let's take a moment to think about concentration and insight. So these are the two categories, two broad categories of Zen meditation. Certain meditations tend to be about concentration, keeping your focus on one thing. And then other meditations are more about clarity, seeing the bigger picture, seeing how things actually are working. Both are very useful for us.
Sometimes they're called the two wheels of a cart, or two wings of a bird. They help each other out, they support each other. So think about your everyday life. It can be using the same list that you did previously of your activities. Ask yourself the following questions. When would focus and calm be helpful to me and when would seeing the bigger picture help me take as long as you like for this.
