Are there you reached the end of the course well done. It takes courage to consider training your mind when there's so many distractions, so many other things to do in life. The fact that you've done three weeks of stress proofing and you're willing to continue on with it. That's pretty admirable. That's wonderful. So I have some suggestions for you moving forward.
I recommend practicing either the body scan meditation, or one of our concentration meditations every day for the next month. If you'd like you can do both. And you'll definitely have more benefit that way. Also, take notes after you do meditations in your meditation record, or in your journal. It's important to see your progress as you continue to practice in this way. And as you as you practice training your mind and learning more about yourself the insights you gain into your personality into who you really are.
This can be very valuable. Having a little record of those can really help. So you have the tools to work with any stress reaction that comes up. So if you start to feel stressed out at work, or home, or anywhere in between, you have the tools. just noticing the signs of stress in your body. And then bringing your accepting awareness to them.
Not trying to change them, not trying to push them away. I think it be being aware of it, letting it change, letting it resolve and move on. Of course, if things get too overwhelming, or you suddenly realize that you're stressed up to here, you have concentration meditations to help walking meditation, or counting the breath to de escalate that stress reaction. Use these whenever you feel stressed. I also recommend working in more concentration meditation to your daily life in little ways. It can be something like walking to the car to go to work, walk into the elevator walking from place to place, anywhere, anywhere that you walk, you can do walking meditation.
And the time spent doing these walking meditations, for example, can build up and this definitely affects your stress levels. So I mentioned before, much of our, our extreme stress comes from lots of little ones building up. So if throughout the day, you're reinforcing, giving your mind a break, building a little piece as you walk, then that piece is going to balance out all those little stress reactions. You might have a completely different life. This is all up to you was a pleasure to practice guest proofing with you.
