You will inevitably face the challenges of having to incorporate into the security program with various duties and responsibilities which do not traditionally fall under the understanding of what the security really is. It will be your judgment call as a security manager. And there is no clear answer as to which duties you should accept and which to reject. It really depends on what the structure and function of your organization is.
