All right, so let's just start off with why sales funnels. The reason why is that whenever you have a normal product that you're selling, you're usually going to be directing them towards one core product to begin with, that's usually your front runner. The thing that you want to leave with is your best seller, right? So you want to put your best foot forward, and in order to do that, and make sure that they're seeing that offer first and not anything else, then you need a sales funnel. The reason why is a confused mind never buys Perry Belcher, Mike Phil same. Russell Brunson.
I all agree that whenever you introduce two options or more, you start decreasing the conversions because you start confusing minds. It's very simple to do when you have anything beyond one simple task. That's why even when we go through and I just show you this average funnel, usually what you're going to be Having is somewhere a blog video something, someone is going to sign up right here, click into this, it's going to be a squeeze page, they may even click into a link somewhere around here, they'll end up at this page, there's only going to be one thing to do. And it's going to be trading their information in exchange for a freebie that you're giving away. Now, that may be a digital asset, a PDF, and audio. And may even be something as simple as a video could be really short, doesn't have to be lots, it doesn't have to have a gigantic amount of value inside of it.
It just has to get them to sign up. Once that occurs, then you're usually and I'm going to teach you have a little thing that I call a tip in between here and this is what serves as a bridge so that as you come over from that freebie opt in, you now can naturally progress someone down and let them know here's something that you can actually purchase that will even better help you more faster and get better results. So when you explain that properly and will be going through the exact sales scripts that you should write, etc, then that is a very linear path. There's no deviations left to the right. You can't come over here, you can't click a link and go to this outside page. There's no links in here.
So that it goes off out into different directions in the world is only going in one direction. All right, right here, right here. Then once they sign up right here, right here, all of that is a linear path. And that's what a sales funnel is. And that's why we need a sales funnel is because we don't want to confuse our buyers. We want them to buy our best product first.
And guess what? If they decide not to buy which is okay, we're going to be talking about a little bit of those numbers, what to expect etc. But even things Don't buy, you have their email. And now you can market your core product in all those dozens of other products that you might end up having in your repository to sell to them. But you can do that at a later date through emails, and we'll discuss how to do that as well. But I just want you to get down and understand the fact is, you need a linear pathway.
Think about a funnel. When you're in the kitchen, you're putting the liquid down it does any of the liquid spill out throughout the funnel, or does it all go in the funnel and come straight out at the bottom of the hole? Exactly. There's nothing that gets out. So inside your funnel, there's nothing that's getting out in different areas, there's only one thing to do or leave. And that's why sales funnels will increase your conversions because it's counterintuitive, maybe to the beginner, but when you only have one thing to do, people will either say yes, or they'll completely leave and say no, but more will end up saying yes then you would even think so.
Especially when you have just one linear path to take. Let's move on to the next set.
