Now we'll get into what a sales funnel actually is. I know I explained a little bit about that, but I really have just three points. And that is a sales funnel is linear, it's right to the point of whatever you're getting to. Number three. It's measurable. All right, you actually know what's coming through.
If something is working or not working, whatever it is, you can put something in and be able to understand if it was a success or failure. Maybe you got half of your ROI, your return on investment back, whatever it is, you know that you can put some numbers in and get some numbers back out. And once you have that it's quantifiable. That's what I call it. quantity. viable.
So that way you know what type of leverage you hold inside that sales funnel. Hey, if I push this type of traffic to it, I don't make any money, but I built a big buyers list. Cool. That's all I need. Now I can present the second product and make pure profits because I'm not spending money again, on advertising. I have a buyer's list, I have an email list.
That's what this is all about remarketing. And again, finally, a sales funnel is direct. Now I know that seems contrary to the linear but the direct is in the sense of you only have one option. While there's a linear path. It's a desired result we're talking about here when it comes to linear. Alright, sales funnels will build up over a value ladder, whereas direct it means one thing.
That's it, they have one thing to do, and that one thing is hey on this page, sign up. Or on the sales page, hey, purchase this item on the upsell, hey, add this to your order. And at the thank you page, access your order. So that's really what you want to focus on when we build out your sales funnel is keep all of these and results in mind when you have that. Then as you're going through it because it gets crazy in the middle. But as you're going through it, keep that in mind, you already set that ahead of time. It's much much easier.
