Everything in the universe is composed of the five fundamental building blocks of nature or the elements. They are the final five building blocks of the universe. According to sankhya philosophy, all aspects of the universe are made up of different combinations of these five elements from the food we eat to the bodies we inhabit. At its essence, the whole world is made up of the five elements, their energies or qualities, and the energies or qualities that they carry. Space is the most subtle element while Earth is the grossest element. These five elements are nothing but the different densities of space, the denser elements have subtler elements infused within them.

And the easiest way to visualize this is if you think of the Russian stacking dolls, there's a large one and they keep getting smaller and smaller. So all of them fit within that larger doll in the same way The elements and space is going to be the most expansive if it's all of the other elements in it. Whereas Earth is going to be the densest it will be the smallest of those dolls. Now space also known as ether, is without form or boundaries. It has an expansive non resistant quality. It serves as the medium in which the other elements are able to manifest.

It is related to the sense of sound or hearing a sound is born from and propagates through space. its corresponding sense organ is there for the ear. In nature, we see space as the hollow of a log so it's the absence of things in the body. We see it as a blood vessel or maybe our chest cavity. In the mind we see it as the space between our thoughts. air, air is the gaseous flowing state of matter that promotes mobility, this print is created by subtle vibrations of movement, which give direction to all processes and functions.

Areas related to the sense of touch. His corresponding sense organ is therefore the skin. The skin is capable of detecting movement in the form of subtle or gross changes in pressure, friction, or vibration. In nature, the most obvious way we see air is through wind. In our body, we see it as the circulation of blood in our bowel movements. In our mind, we see it as the movement of our thoughts.

Fire. Fire is the energy force that promotes heat, light transformation and conversion. conversion is the key concept in defining fires rolling creation, light and heat are produced from the friction inherent in a movement. The sun offers the most striking example of this principle. It is hot Light, intense, powerful and transformative. Externally we see this principle as the sun or fire internally it drives digestion and caught our cognitive processes.

Sense of sight is intimately associated with the elements of fire. Without fire creation would not be possible. Fire allows us to see forms, see form degrees of dark and light and various frequencies of color. And its corresponding sense organs are the eyes. So again in nature, we see it as the sun. In our body we see it as our digestive process, and in our mind, we can see it as anger or irritation.

Water waters, the liquid state of matter that promotes movement and fluidity. Water is the most common manifestation on this planet and is the major component of all life. function of water is to both protect and nourish. The water element is responsible for the sense of taste, as to live on mixes with food to allow us to allow for us to taste our food. The corresponding sense Oregon is the tongue. In nature we see water as rivers, lakes, oceans and ponds.

In our body, we can see it as urine, sweat and blood. And in the mind, we see it as the fluidity of our thoughts. Earth. Earth is the solid state of matter that promotes stability. All structures within nature whether a molecule, mountain, planet or galaxy is determined by the element of Earth. it governs shape and structure of everything we see including our organs, our tendons, muscles, and bones.

The sense of smell arises from the element of earth as we need Earth. solid form to touch the olfactory of the nose to allow for smell to register. And nature we see earth as trees, mountains, boulders, and our body we see it as bones and organs, and in our mind, we see it as stagnant. Now the importance of the five elements in health, all natural things are comprised of the five elements. For example, fruits, vegetables, grains, plants, herbs, animals and human beings are comprised of different combinations of the elements, which is why herbs can be digested by the body, while synthetic medicines cannot, as they are foreign matter that caused the body harm and dysfunction. elements with the opposite qualities are used in treatment with the goal of maintaining or restoring balance.

For example, to reduce lethargy, we might use light foods with the qualities of Aaron's space, while in lightheadedness, we're going to use grounding heavy foods such as nuts, seeds or root vegetables. The qualities of the five elements are going to be very important as you continue to learn about ru VEDA and the doses and also explore your own health and well being, as to find optimal health and balance within you. Often we need to bring in those opposite qualities or opposite of opposite elements of whatever is currently in excess within our body or our mind. Taking a look at the qualities of the five elements, we see that space is subtle, soft, clear, smooth and expanding. Air is rough, dry, light, cold and mobile. Fire is hot, sharp and penetrating.

Water is flowing what doll and saw Earth is gross, heavy, static, hard and dense.
