The final part of getting ready to speak is if you can do some relaxation techniques for the mind. A very popular technique is called positive visualization. And this means that you see it going well. It's used a lot by athletes who are coming up to a competition say, and they imagine themselves crossing the line, it's been shown to have a great deal of impact on performance. And it also just makes you feel better in the run up and means that you're wasting less time feeling dread, or nerves or anxiety. When you're about to speak.

You can now listen to an audio which is a recording of me just taking you through a relaxation that's about you seeing yourself speaking and it going well. It's not hypnosis, but it is very relaxing. So I'd advise that you do it somewhere where you can close your eyes and not be disturbed for a little while. Please don't use it while you're driving or operating. Or he. So good luck with your speaking.

I really hope that you're starting to feel better about it now, and do let me know about your speaking success.
