We are now on module nine, which is think like a child. Now children are naturally creative. Unfortunately, we lose some of this creativity. As we grow up, we lose our curiosity. And we forget to daydream, and play when we forget to have fun. We forget to be creative by remembering how to think like a child.

Ie activate our creativity. So here is the quote, for this module. The worst enemy of creativity is good sense by Pablo Picasso dangering, everyone daydreams, it is actually natural. And as children many of us are taught that daydreaming is a waste of time that distracts us from important activities, but daydreaming is actually a useful tool that the mind need biologically. The act of daydreaming is similar to dreaming or meditation. So it shifts the part Believe it or not, part of the brain being used and AIDS both in relaxation and the eating monotony.

So occasionally allowing the mind to wander can actually increase productivity as people clear their minds and they begin to refocus. Additionally, dating connects us with our goals and desires. They inspire us to act on our dreams because we have already pictured them as reality. That is your imagination. There is that inspiration. So while daydreaming is useful, it is important to not go overboard.

So you want to allow yourself small chunks of time, maybe 15 minutes a day today drip The point is allowing yourself a break so that you can activate your creativity can help you refocus when you return to work here is our opportunities activity. Now, I want you To make a list of things you would do or opportunities you would take without the fear of failure. If you could do anything without worrying about that fear failure, what would it be? So I want you to go ahead and work on this. And remember to do the activities within the module before you move on to the next module. And definitely reach out to me via Google Hangouts, so I can know your opportunities that you would pursue if you didn't have to worry about fear, being curious that we have already spent the entire module right addressing in part two of curiosity.

It will be easier for us to reignite our curiosity when we remember the time in our lives when we were the most curious, which is good childhood. The world is a marvelous place for children who regularly ask why or how right So for me your questions may be, Why is the sky blue? And how does it work? See a certain joy comes from asking questions and pursuing their answers. See kids don't get discouraged. Kids are not afraid to ask questions.

Only when we become adults do we become afraid? Because now, we have all of these limitations on us, right? And we have these labels. So Oh, yeah, I can't ask that question. I'm an adult. But believe it or not, it is important, because children, they're not afraid, because they can believe they can find the answers.

And that's exactly how we should think that divergent thinking and divergent thinking allows you to see multiple solutions to answers right. That now is going to spark your creativity process is going to now allow you to imagine to visualize and it's going to inspire You see, we become discouraged right? with certain type of questions. But discouragement only hinders our creativity. So you want to activate your curiosity by considering what interests you, and why some things work, while others do not ask questions like a child would, and you will find your curiosity is actually increasing. So we are now on to our curiosity activity.

So I want you to write a list of questions that are relevant to you. What is relevant to you? What would you like to ask if you had the opportunity to explore like a child open ended questions not having to worry about questions, what would they be? And how would you ask him like a child? I remember when my daughters were younger, everything was why how Why? How, why is this?

Because I said, so how is this? How do you know? So you have to put yourself in that frame of mind, because that's going to help you to discover. And that discovery is going to allow you to imagine, and it's going to keep moving you on the path of creativity. Activate your curiosity. And what better way playing games?

Now we all need to take more time to play, and games are the perfect way to connect with our inner child. People enjoy games, which is why the number of games available for smartphones keep increasing, right? You have Pokemon which is big right now. And what is that jewel gain? Candy Candy Crush, I don't start playing Candy Crush like crazy. There's always new games every time you look around.

There's games on social media. And believe it or not, that's so important because gains are Useful motivators that keep our minds sharp and improve our creativity. So making games a part of our daily routine will inspire and motivate us to reach our goals. We've already discussed using gamification to motivate work. But this should not be only the game that you play, it is important to participate in a variety of games to stimulate different thought processes. So for example, chess deals with logic and strategy.

Video games are tied to increase creativity. So every time you see when you're walking, and you see someone playing the game, they may not be paying attention, but believe it or not, is helping their creative process. And then you have puzzle games and these are meant to improve your mental function. So try different games until you find the ones that appeal to you. And if you do not enjoy a game, you are not likely to play it. So go out there and explore.

So here is our Game activity, create a list of tasks to encourage creativity and assign employees. So what are the tasks? What would you do? And then how many points would you give them? Right? So maybe it's going to the coffee shop, maybe it's going to the bookstore, maybe I'm going to go read at the bookstore for 15 minutes, hey, there's my test.

Here are my points, maybe it's going to clean your car or whatever it is just turn those tests into point, you know, what you would normally do and add points to them, because that's an actual game activity. And it's going to help spark that creativity. Now we are on to experiment. So children are fascinated when they encounter something new. As adults, our fascination is more likely to be hesitation, right? Because we're adults and we develop these routines and safe zones.

But part of taking risk and living creatively actually requires you To take some risk and try new things, experiment, right? So trying something new prevents boredom. And it forces us to grow and expand our horizons. So rather than getting stuck in a safe, controlled environment, learn to say yes to new experiences, right? This is where when you don't start trying new experiences, that's where things become stagnant. That's when things become mundane.

So when you start trying new experiments, it allows you to grow. Now, this is not giving you an excuse to be reckless and make bad decisions. And it's simply a reminder that there's always more to experience in life. experiment with new food, right? Go to new places, you know, normally frequent, take some classes like now and meet new people. You will not enjoy everything you try.

But you will never Before so remember that and you may discover new inspiration to spark your creativity. So we are now on to our case study. So Darla was a bookkeeper who never varied from her routine. She kept the same schedule, drove the same routes, ate the same food and talk to the same people every day. as boring as her life was Darla was uncomfortable with the idea of change. For her new year's resolution.

She decided to try something new and indulge her creative side. She took dance lessons, which she was not afraid to try. And after a few weeks, she discovered that she enjoyed dancing, and she was better at it than she thought she would be. Right. So she met new people in the group, and they would go out after their lesson. One of her new friends owned an art gallery and was looking for a bookkeeper and that's exactly what Donna does.

So this was right in garland ball. apart, but imagine if she had not explored. Imagine if she had gone outside of her paradigm. So, Darla believed that she was ready for another change. And that's what she did. She got a new job, but just by saying, you know what I'm taking dancing classes.

Look where her role took her. Right. So then when we start, get it out of our routine, getting out of that mundane state and been stagnant and say, You know what, I'm going to try new experiences. I'm going to take risk. Remember, as long as they're not careless, right? Then imagine the endless possibilities and the endless opportunities.

So although this is applying to Darla, I would love to know how you can apply this to your environment. What would you do if you can think about now you know what, I think I want to try something new. Share with me, share with me I would love to know and get to know your experiences. So definitely reach out to me Google Hangouts. And let me know how you're doing. Believe it or not, we are now on at the end of module nine.

And here is our recap. Now remember, everyone daydreams. It is natural 15 minutes a day. Remember, do not go overboard with it. But just 15 minutes a day dreaming is almost a form of meditation is just like meditation. Because then you're visualizing right?

It will be easy for us to reignite our curiosity, when we remember the time in our lives when we are the most curious, which is our childhood. And we all need to take more time to play, and games are the perfect way to connect with our inner child. And adults develop routines and safe zones, part of taking risk and liming creatively, however, it requires us to experiment and try new things. So make sure to try new things, gather new experiences, whatever it may be new food new way to get to work just like Darla, right. And definitely make sure that you complete your activities before you move on to Module 10. And here's the quote, the worst enemy of creativity is good sense by Pablo Picasso.

We are done go ahead and do your activities and I will see you in the next module. Have a good day.
