And not a lot is happening at the moment. So let's go into our render view. And we can render out different effects. So let's go to our camera mode with zero. And if we hit ambient occlusion, that's going to put just a little shadows that should appear where 3d objects are kind of touching each other. You can also add bloom, and that's going to add just a little bit of sparkle a little bit of light onto your image, kind of like reflections.

That looks really nice. We're gonna also add depth of field. So notice that got blurry. And that's because our camera is out of focus. So if we click on camera, go to your camera tab now that has just appeared. And under depth of field, we can click on the object that we want to stay in focus.

So super easy. Now the camera no matter where you move, it will stay focused on the center point of the parent object which is you know, the cube, whichever you select. And then let's go back to our camera view. You can also Turn on screen space reflections, that's going to add some reflections and subsurface scattering. That's just a little tiny shadow details. And another one you want, you really want to make sure you turn on is go into shadows.

And under shadows do soft shadows. And you can increase the light threshold just a little bit if you want, kind of notice what it does there. And so when you move around, it looks all funky, but then when you let go, it kind of settles. And that's what it'll really look like when you render. So already, we're getting a nice, soft, even light. Let's get rid of this cube and bring in something that we've used.

So just click on the cube, hit X and delete. And let's bring in one of our objects. So let's hit Save File, Import STL. So we're going to bring in one of ours. So I'm going to just bring in our very first model 3d printing Suzanne, go ahead and import that. And right away it's really huge so you can hit period on the numpad and the monkey is like 10 times bigger than our studio set.

So what you want to do just scale it down, we're not going to 3d print this, we're just going to take some photos of it. So then hit period and go to our camera view still a little too large. So hit s and just keep on scaling down, V and z, bring it on up. And notice it's a little blurry. So we need to go to our camera, and just use our eyedropper to select Suzanne here. Now everything's in focus.

Also note, this is a 1080 frame, you know, kind of like a YouTube video like 1920 by 1080. But you can go to this little printer tab here and change that. So if you wanted a square, you could do you know 1080 by 1080 or 1920 by 1920. Just make sure they're the same. And notice now we have a square Render Image. So if you wanted to do Instagram or something you could do that.

So already This is looking great. Let's add a material to Suzanne so just click on Suzanne, go to your little looks like a little beach ball almost. Click on that and add a new material and we're going to click New Give it a color, let's do red. You can also change up the specular or if you want it more metallic, you can add kind of some shiny sheen to it, you can also hold leave a little bit, you can change the specular, which is kind of how the light bounces off of it. So if you want it really sharp, the light gleaned to be you can kind of mess with the light glean their roughness that will make it either more reflective, or kind of like a softer kind of what a plastic would actually look like. I'm gonna make it a little less rough, just so we get some nice reflections and lookie there you've got a really cool easy to manipulate, render there, you can turn off your overlays.

And hey, you're already getting a really cool look. You can grab Suzanne bring up just a little bit. And so now if you wanted to render this out, you would just go to render and hit Render Image and that will give you the look Have a simple photograph.
