As I'm using the polygon tip I keep alternating between the regular polygon lasso and then hit option and get the regular lasso where I can freehand it a bit. Going back and forth makes it a very natural way of selecting. Alright, right. Get that out.

And what the red and the lava has done. Now it's going to select the whole gray color here with lasso tool, separate out the actual volcano. So I got the smoke coming out. And I'm going to use a dark red. Actually, I might use it the one that pinkish end there. I'll try that Right and now look at that.

Mess this up to. Well let's go area is basically done and hit command E to merge it down. So now back on the background layer want to fix this little area here. There we go. All right. Now the next part, I'm going to select this green.

Next I might look at the other greens like x. I'm not sure if I like it. I kind of like that one better. wanted something a little bit more dollar to push back. Now, I hit Command J question mark. And now I can start separating the greenery into different shades make it more interesting and help separate the planes too. Sometimes I hit option for some reason it doesn't Transform to the other last so and it can almost mess up my selection Actions go trying to The best way to define is face actually more shadow on this I put a bit of a highlight on this.

They're going to do is select the area on his forearm here. There we go there it's pretty decent. Just want to go in maybe add a shadow to his mind there and the kid is finished. So let's save. Move on to the hero here. Actually.
