Now let's discover another selection method and it's based on color range within our image. So let's say for instance we need to be selecting that fire, we can be trying Quick Selection Tool First, I'm going to be throwing around so let's see what we can get. We have that selection and we are missing bits of fire. So instead we can D select quando Ctrl D, and go to Select and we have color range. And here we have a review can be selecting our image in here and also in selection review, make that one as grayscale. I prefer that way.

And basically guys what we'll be representing selection and Black will be the selected areas. And here we have all growers tool selected so can be either making or selling action on that gray scale. Or we can be selecting on our image as well. So we can keep trying different ways. And also, we can keep adding to our selection by selecting that add to sample icon. So we're adding more color ranges to our selection, I was trying to get a very White and bright selection in here.

So I'm trying to add more color ranges to our selection. And also we have that fuzziness slider where we can try to reduce that value a bit, trying to get rid of that grill in here. Or maybe you can be removing support from our selection as well. So trying to get rid of that color range. That's not really working like that. So I'm going to be adding once again to our selection and also here, you can be selecting all to skin tones, you're going after skin tones selections.

However, don't try these colors in here it's us or any of these are not really working. And let's press OK. So we have that selection in here we can be grabbing maybe our lasso tool, pressing Alt or Option key to remove the upgrade from our selection. Maybe also removes apart. Now we have that port selected, we can be creating a mosque. And let's copy that clear, along with its mosque to the image in here.

Remember that scene guys. We already added our voice to that scene in here. And now we're going to be adding more action maybe fire to our scene. So let's try that one behind our mountain layer. I already added some more adjustment layers maybe like brightness contrast levels also for adding more brightness or image, hue saturation, though you guys will be discovering all these adjustment layers later in detail. However, now bear with me we're going to be pasting that layer.

Maybe in here pressing Command or Ctrl V. Here we have that nice fire added to our scene. We can reposition that one, maybe all the way to here and let's change its Blending Mode to Hard lights or even lighten will be better in that case. Transforming that one Command or Control T, rescaling or image maybe to here we can also have more saturation to our layer by adding an adjustment there, including hue saturation, bringing up saturation up a bit. However, now it's affecting everything within our image. So let's make that one exclusive to only fire layer by clipping that layer to our fire layer in here. So we can do that by pressing Alt or Option key and clicking between those two layers.

All can be clicking the button here. So it's now only affecting the layer below that one. So we can turn it on and off. We can change you for fire as well. So only affecting that fire layer. Now it's looking more like a smoke, especially if we bring saturation down.

And that's how you boot to fire with few sliders. Our let's bring it back re saturating fire and make it more realistic a bit more intense like that. So we get that seem intense orange against blue, or teal and orange effect, or it still can be boring and exclusion for that image. Maybe from here I don't know which image not this one. Yeah, that one. So now let's say we need to borrow that fire.

And here we can be starting maybe with a lasso tool to make a quick outline around that fire. Then Oh can be also using current range, select color range. And let's select image. removing some balls from our selection maybe sports we don't need an auto selection increasing fuzziness bets on adding more colors. So all these cars in here they're moving, loose. Man pressing OK now we can use the Lasso Tool once again to remove from our selection, pressing ALT option key and going to remove that our part maybe, or maybe narrow that one here and now can be enhancing our selection even better by clicking select a mask and zoom in a bit.

We have our view on black. We can be trying first the quick selection tool, narrowing these areas in here. Pressing all the little can be refining that fire effects. Maybe also if you would like to introduce white dots, you can be removing them. However things you want to be adding to our scene, so let's undo that. And selecting Refine Edge tool, which is really nice for here beer, small fire, or even grass, increasing our size a bit and going over edges.

Just going to be giving a smooth edge maybe a bit transparence over can be fixing that transparency later. Some certain cases, it's working like charm as you can see. And now let's apply that lesson. Okay. And let's also mask that one copying the clear Command or Ctrl C. Go back to our image let's paste that image and pull that one, see how it's gonna look like model Control V. And now that Hue Saturation layer is not clipped to any layer, so can be clipping that one to that new file. So I'm going to be pressing ALT option key to clip that one, two or layer two to be only affecting that foyer, and let's transform that one selecting the clear one with Ctrl T, zooming out of it so you can really control that one and pressing ALT option key to transform it to center.

Maybe something like that. I'm not doing that fire a bit down using arrows along the shift key to quickly notch that 114 movements at once. Zooming in what sane maybe have a tire shift On Up arrow under Trump's noise hitting return. Now to make it even more realistic can be adding a reflection on that guy, maybe the part of his face and his jacket, just like those battlefield posters, if you ever played that game on PlayStation or PC, or even Xbox, and that technique will be also relying on masking. So let's select our move tool. And let's let our boy here it is and we'll be adding a hue saturation layer first door that layer and by default, it will be clipped to that layer since I have previous layers clipped to that one, and let's start playing with sliders going for orange, maybe cranking of saturation first.

Yeah, so we can see an intense orange color matching Maybe that fires car as well. And here as you can see guys, we have a mask added to that Hue Saturation layer where we can be also hiding some bolts from that layer using that mask by painting in black using our brush tool. So I'm going to be selecting brush tool or pressing B on keyboard. Swapping colors, pressing X all can be swabbing colors from here as well. And let's make that one a soft brush. Zero hardness, increasing brush size a bit.

Painting, just like that. Maybe by his nose, that light will be stopping the port will not be having any color. We can always keep adding more details or images to make it even more realistic or even adventurous However, I'm not going to be going too far with that. So if you feel there are too many details in that video, don't worry, keep watching and I'm sure you will be applying those techniques over and over again, till maybe you get bored of them.
