Now we're going to discover how to add materials to or elements or layers in Photoshop, mainly in 3d mode, of course. So let's maybe add a different material to our type, we can be expanding or layer we have V s layer, including our pipe, we can be expanding that one, where you can see two sub layers in here including from inflation material and we have from very material extrusion back bevel material, which we cannot see in that case. And we have also back inflation material can be selecting all of them. By clicking that one, shift click to select all layers in between, then our progress is valid, we can see that we have our materials in that thumbnail and by default, now we don't have any material of life. So it can be choosing from any of these materials in here. If you hover over Any of them you will see what we are we have fabric cotton we have fabric denim, and fabric leather and so on and so forth.

You can be scrolling we have glassy materials like that one for instance gemstone Tourmaline and so on. You can be looking for something that catches your eyes maybe metal. This one is no texture, which we are on. And we have metal steel, silver and we have that one could be our Yeah, looks like iron to me. You can find more materials in here, plastic texture or brick stone brick or granite and so many materials here and you can be loading more if you have downloaded any materials. And if you're looking even for more materials, you can go to 3d and you can be selected get more content if you'd like to get more from Adobe Stock He would like to get more from Adobe, you can be downloading 3d content.

So he can be downloading models and meshes, as they are offering thousands of 3d models. And that could be very handy in your design. If you're looking for 3d elements, you can be quickly grabbing a ready made mesh or 3d elements, and also can be downloading materials. And it's including more than hundred three materials in several categories, including fabrics, glass, organics, and so on. And you can be downloading actions as well including generate complex 3d objects. Or you can be downloading the stages and sets where you will be having a brief design stages and sets a stage like that one, you can be placing your 3d elements inside.

And also you can be downloading image based lights. And I'm going to be discovering more about lights and Photoshop. So let's go back to our design and going back to our materials of sourcing Things all sub layers within our type, what are we selecting maybe silver, or anything like that, maybe that one and also can be changing its color or diffusion by clicking that one in here. Well, now we have our current color can be moving that one insight, you can be changing if you would like to go for lighter colors or darker ones, maybe you can be going for something like that. And we can control intensity as well for our color, which will be making that one dimmer or brighter. Our let's keep it as this on zero, and pressing OK. Now we can really see that one as we need to be rendering our scene.

So let's deselect our layers and hitting that one in here to render our scene or from 3d tab as well. You can run the 3d layer so Clicking that one. Now to be honest with you guys render takes a lot of time. And here we see that we have time remaining of my 19 minutes, and it keeps jumping up and down as the game was to present only achieved. So most of the cases while you're designing, you don't need to really wait all the way till the end, you can get a glimpse of how it looks like then you can be pressing escape in your time to disable your rendering time. Or you can be reducing rendering quality in 3d and preferences, just like we did in previous video.

Now it's almost 32% of rendering, I'm gonna keep it as this basic scape. So can get an image of how it looks like. And also here's another trick for you guys. If you would like to only render a part of your scene to save time, you can be using your selection tool. Maybe you can be selecting any portals in your image or your Join is a port, then it can be rendering only support so can be clicking the icon here. And as you can see, we have a very short time.

So you can imagine how it's gonna be looking like was that material or the lighting effect. Now can be zooming in a bit pressing Command or Control plus. So you can see the difference between a full render in here and only 30% of render we have too much noise, we don't have the perfect shadow and material as well. So zooming out, now we can imagine how it's going to be looking like that material. And now we can be selecting or selection pressing Command or Control D. Now it can be moving to adding lights to our scene. But before we do that, let's save our camera view.

As let's say we like that view can be selecting or seen currently View and hearing views we have a save option where we can be saving that view. Let's call it maybe angle vs. scene and hitting Ok. So now we can freely move our camera and go back anytime to that view. And also here in our scene can be adding a shallow depth of field, or just like using a partial in DSLR cameras. So here we have that option in here, that's a field where you can be adding some depth to your scene. And also can change the distance to move that glory effects over or type to maybe change or focal lengths on our main type, maybe that P letter in that case, or B and S as well, and everything else will be blurred.

However, let's keep that one as tools for now. And maybe later we can be messing around with that option. But now moving to controlling and changing light within our CDC
