Bending a blade was type can be a great way to achieve creative and expressing designs. To show you even more controlled and precise ways to bend our type, or place it within shapes, maybe like that Space Needle Seattle line, we can be zooming in a bit Switching to move to selecting our layer, and let's create that one from scratch, I'm going to be hiding that layer, selecting ellipse shape, or Ellipse tool. And you can be drawing a circle maybe from center clicking in here pressing Alt, to draw it from center and pressing Shift as well to have a perfect circle, maybe all the way to here and removing fill color selecting both selection tool, so to move our circle a bit. Now in order to start typing on that circle, all we need to do is to select our type tool pressing T. And as you can see, we have that dotted circle around our type tool, which means that we're going to be typing within that circle.

And if we hover a button to our circle, we can see that curvy dashed line, which means that we can be typing on our circle along the path. So let me start first by typing inside Clicking inside, you can see that circle in there, which means it's going to be filling that circles type, creating a type area for us or a bar graph. And we can realign that one to center, maybe for that shape. And let me remove that highlight so you can see better guys. Now it's fucking blacks who maybe don't see better. However it can give either can be changing its color among the A, again, changing or colors to white.

And you can keep playing with the toy, maybe reduce its size, and add maybe justification and almost hyphenation to our paragraph all the way till it looks maybe like a better circle. However, let's undo that and start typing on the edge of our circle. So I'm going to be selecting type to the Select by pressing Command or Ctrl Z. To undo typing. I'm going to be using the Path Selection tool to get our circle appearing once again and selecting our type tool. Now, let's help On the edge of our circle, till we get the icon and clicking to start typing.

We have lorem ipsum type or dummy text. And let's replace that one with Seattle Space Needle. Now in order to align or type we need to be selecting the Direct Selection tool or white arrow. If we start hovering over or type we can see those two lines in here to invert our type, up and down like that. Or we can be moving or type all the way to center. And if we hover the other way, of course, our circle can see only one arrow for the start point to four types.

So if I drag that one all the way like that, we are controlling our start point for our type. And going up and down can be flipping or type as you can see. Now I'm moving on time, all the way to endpoint or type. And I can get back to where it was by rotating that start point, and that can be helpful if we want to align our type even better or show missing words. So if we move our end point all the way to here we can be losing some time as well. Like space needed, we can see that one so we are dragging or in going to show missing words.

Now we are controlling our time moving to move tool so it can be transforming our time together closer to Space Needle, third pressing Command or Ctrl T, and pressing Alt or Option key to bring it closer to the center. All the way maybe to here, hitting return. Selecting or type tool, once again, can be highlighting or type. Maybe you can be increasing our font size a bit to 48. And you can play around with some letters, so maybe you can be selecting that l letter In here, selecting Carter barrel and distorting that one. Although it may be two 300 or something like that, we rarely play with distortion.

However, in that case, a letter will be maintaining its proportions. If we do that was maybe t letter or E letter, it might be looking bad. So let's try that on steel after increasing heights. Now it's looking so ugly and distorted. However, for a letter can be maintaining its proportions. So I'm going to undo that to get it back to original size and maybe selecting the other l in here, increasing its height here to 200.

Now selecting needle wall can be changing its color so it can be more readable. Who can be picking color from here or selecting the same color we have for the type pressing OK. Now let's start typing on an open path. And it's almost the same concept. So scrolling down Selecting the Path Selection tool, and often we have many bosses in here, I'm going to be selecting that one where we can start typing along the path selecting type tool, hovering over that path. And let's start maybe from here. Now we need to be adjusting the start and end point for that type, selecting the Direct Selection tool and hovering over or type.

Of course, we can be adjusting also our path using the Direct Selection tool so we can be moving these anchor points if we hover over our path, however, in that case, we need to be adjusting our type. So I'm going to be hovering over type to flip type along your path or that arrow for endpoint to leave more type. So I'm going to release the type all the way to here and also flipping type alongside our poll and you can be adding us type. Now zooming out a bit Let's also discuss some visuals for that design. Let me first disable some layers. Starting with that one doesn't look really cool, I don't like it.

Also for space needed, I'm gonna bring that one on and disable that one as it looks better with bigger phones and letters. Of course guys, you will find that file in new resources so you can be practicing the same design. However, it's not going to be looking the same. So if we scroll down, pressing all to option key to check our original layer is how it looks like this helped all started, of course, loads up off, but let's re enable our effects once again, pressing Alt or Option key clicking on that icon to get all our layers back. Here added two or three adjustment layers as part of lockup or lots for adding dramatic look and orange and teal theme. So let's quickly check those layers.

Select that layer in here you can see that we have the orange plus contrast a lot, 3d lot file, you can be finding that one at the very bottom of your lots was only 55% of opacity you can be increasing that one so you can see how it looks like in full. That's still green and strong. So let's undo that. And also I'm using another adjustment layer as a moon light lot. You can find that one at the very bottom as well. You have moonlight and light from day both of them are almost the same.

It's going to be adding a my theme to your poster. And I mainly use that one here to darken those clouds so can have more readable text as I really want to use white pipe in here. So I want to to them Zeus clouds a bit. So let me increase the font for you guys so you can see how it looks like it's adding the cool light effect your image So maybe you need to be trying that one out as well. So let's get it back to the time suppose and I'm using ultra that orange color for more contrast on that dark blue background to go along with that orange and teal theme, now Okay, guys and start designing your own poster
