In this video, we're going to learn how to add the developer tab to your ribbon. If you see other people using different types of buttons, or macros in their worksheets, and are wondering how they get access to these, it is through the developer tab, you can really easily add the developer tab of the ribbon by going through the same customization process that we learned earlier, right clicking anywhere on the ribbon, choosing to customers, and making sure that the option for the developer tab is checked. Once this is checked, and you click OK, the developer tab is now available. You'll notice that it's got some code related commands like accessing Visual Basic running macros, or even recording them. It's got dedicated buttons for all of the add ins that we've discussed previously. And this is great because it makes navigating to these edit options much quicker.
And then we've got buttons for the specific controls that we discussed. in detail in Step nine. So adding the developer tab is step one for delving into the world of Visual Basic, and recording of macros. So in summary, right click on the ribbon customers and simply check the developer box. see in the next video
