Transcript

Hello, in this HTML Crash Course video, we're gonna cover tables table, very, very simple concept. It's a way to organize data, you usually have some sort of headings, which describe the information in each of the following rows. So let's get started. To create a table, you do a table tag, close it off. And then inside of here, you create more tags. This is I believe, the first time we're using tags and elements that really require other tags and elements to be within them to well function properly.

So the first thing is to do a T tag so t r, which means table row. So this is the first row. Within here you put TD which is table data. Please line. So this essentially config of let me just type in table and get something up since or table or one to the table it so so we've got this table of whatever it is. And then we got these headings.

And within these, we know what this number correlates to correlate to the ownership of a house, the ownership of some sort of flat or maysonet or some sort of location or 40 house. Basically, these fingers caught correlate to this So you mean something to do with this and that's what we're doing right here. The word creating the headings first on it on this creating a simple table with an ID name and age. So name a age Now you generally have each row with the same number of columns. So I'm just gonna copy and paste this to keep it simple. And let's delete this, delete this, delete this copy and paste this up four different rows.

And I'm going to put 001 I'll put that the ID but you could put Hello if you want to do is I'll just put that because that's usually what it would look like. I'm going to put Batman is a clearly no not 900 to Yoda. Yoda is very young. ages six is a young boy then 00 free to me, so my name is Han, I'm My age and upgrading video is 24. So save this, go to web browser refresh. And now we have a table.

You honestly might be looking at this and thinking this is this it. And yet, there's not much more to say we do have a separate video that will cover some more advanced properties of tables. But this is a crash course in HTML. Once you've got these skills and HTML, you can start learning skills in CSS skills in JavaScript. By combining CSS and JavaScript and HTML.
