Hello, in this HTML Crash Course video, we're going to cover advanced tables. Honestly, they're not much more advanced than the previous video. If you can hear that, that's just some traffic outside the window open because it is pretty hot and I'm recording quite a few videos back to back. So for us leave the window open. Hopefully, I should be able to edit it in iMovie afterwards, but if not, that is that sound that you was hearing though. First of all, we're going to just remove all the contents of the current table.

We don't have a table anymore, just put some simple HTML I mean some table tags opening and closing within that. We're gonna put a tr which is a row as we covered before. Oh, and what we're gonna do is what are we going to almost got so insomnia instead of it TD, we're gonna have a t h, which is table header. So just copy and paste this. I'm gonna change this to column one, heading. Copy and paste is put a Yeah.

Changes to a three to a two. Now we're gonna create a new row. And in here, we're gonna TD, so some data. We're just gonna pull up row one. I'm going to copy and paste this and put row two. So two, but I'm going to add an attribute of cold scans.

So this is how many columns you want it to span. I'm going to put to simply but this is gonna be wider, but obviously, it'd be better for you to see it. So just bear with me waters code this table up on all those thrown in row to self. And while we're not going to have another cell in here, copy and paste this. So finally table data. In here we're going to put row four to cell three, save that refresh, and here we go the column one heading. By default, it adds some basic styling. Obviously if you wanted to bring your website you probably combine that with CSS and add some bearer styling so as you can see for the table header is added a font weight of being bold, which is really cool. We got rode to sell one way covers normal web. But then the row to sell to it spans two columns, which is pretty darn cool and fit this has basically spanned all of these two columns.

This has spanned two different rows. And these are obviously just well normal pieces of data in a table. So that's it for advanced tables.
