DESCRIPTION: 

Classic Vegan Gravy:

Cook time: 15-20 minutes
Serving: 5-6 hungry people

Ingredients:

Vegetable broth: 1- ½ cups
Whole mushroom caps: 2 cups
Vegan butter or olive oil: 2 tablespoons
All-purpose flour: 3 tablespoons

Tools:

medium saucepan
whisk or mixing spoon

Instruction:

Start by dicing up the mushrooms into cubs
On medium heat add in the butter and allow to melt completely
once butter is melted, add in the diced mushrooms and mix thoroughly with the butter
Next, add in the 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon at a time and continue to mix for 1 minute as it begins to thicken
Finally, add in the vegetable broth and mix everything together thoroughly for 5 minutes
Lower heat and mix until a gravy texture starts to form
Immediately remove from heat and pour into a heat-safe serving dish or let cool and store for later

Serve and enjoy.
