In the last lecture, we created a dynamodb table and created partition key. Now let's let's examine what this what this partition key and salt keys are in Dynamo dB. So partition key is generally a unique identification for table items. And please understand this from the primary key perspective. So primary key helps you to find your inner data quite easily and quickly salt key just like a composite primary key. And of course, this is a nominal concept in the database terminology composite primary key again helps you to identify those records pretty quickly.
But apart from partition key, you have a flexibility of choosing a soft key and that is completely optional, but isn't key is mandatory because this is kind of no SQL data. And partition key helps to identify your data quite quickly, as As I have been emphasizing SOC K, if you have to choose the sort key in your different scenario, just bear in mind that is is kind of composite primary key and you should be using in conjunction with your partition key. And it allows you to retrieve or fix your data on the basis of partition key and soft key both and this is just kind of getting and getting the data quite quickly but using composite primary key. So that's all about partition key and soft key and I'll see you in the next lecture.
