Okay, in the last lecture, we have created a dynamodb table, we can go back to Dynamo DB table and select our newly created table, we can go into this table and let's probably try to enter some inputs rows in this table. Of course, we have then the properties of the properties of this table. This ID is a primary key in here. It's a soft key and here we have the ID and a soft key and what we have chosen as a number let's let's try to add some more columns or properties in JSON. So what we are saying name so inventory name, and what we are choosing it's some sort of infantry name, so let's choose some sensible name, USB mouse. And then what we are going to add, let's try to add a Boolean type, which says whether this event regions stock or not in stock, and it's going to ask you enter the details true or false.
And let's also identify how many items in the stock or how many, or how many inventors in stock. So let's say the stock is 10 here. And once we have entered all the required information, we'll just save it. And here it is our information. Let's just navigate it through, you can see different options to edit it once you click on it, it will take you through the row of information. Here, you can choose to edit any information you choose to you will see an edit icon coming up.
And you can decide or you can choose to edit all those information if you need to. Now what what we are going to create a different row again now. So let's see how does it so we have two views. tree and text. So if you go to text view, it will be switched to just JSON objects. Let's just copy that so we can modify for our next record.
And then let's enter some some more information in the second row itself. Of course, you can, you know, choose to modify anything. So let's see here it is done. And now let's get another item but this time let's go to text text view and and modify all those information. Let's switch to text view. An interesting thing is that if your ID is same, since your ID cannot be duplicate, and if you choose and if you have mollified all your informations, and the moment you actually try to save this information, you you are going to get some error.
What you are going to get, you are going to get some sort of validation error because that's Id one already exists. And he had faced that condition request failed, because Id one only really exists. So what we have to do is, we just have to give some other ID. And then once we have given the different ID and you save it, the state and as I said, you can choose to modify any record in dynamodb if you choose to modify and that's all about this lecture.
