So once you go ahead in setup here appointments and your invoicing, you want to go ahead and go to your items, selection in your dashboard. This will bring you to your item library, your service library, some modifiers categories to kind of organize your services that you are looking to sell through either your online store or through appointments. And in fast selection of invoice creation, these things will help speed up that process where you're not entering in the same information over and over again. So once you click items, you see that it opens right up to the item library here You have an option to either create an item or import items. We have a couple of suggestions down here that are similar to what most store owners would be adding to an item library. These suggestions you don't have to worry about unless you are looking to go ahead and actually have earrings bracelets and necklaces on your in your item library.

So you have the option to create an item and import them. Square provides a download template to be able to import multiple items quickly. So this is something that you will want to do if you have a lot of inventory. If you are selling lots of digital printers products or your service list is very massive and you don't feel like putting in every portion of the services by hand because you will do a item one by one, you can go ahead and just import through their template, and it will go ahead and pull in all of that information. So to create a single item, you click Create item and this is the general view. You'll see the item details such as the name categories, if you have none into your items, dashboard, then you can add them later.

If you'd like to add a description of the item, the codes here, what locations you're selling to. If you're have a item photo that you're looking to use, you'll be able to put that That'll be here. And then we move on to the price in inventory, where you can set her price and then if it's nice a specific unit of measurement, then you can also choose that price of the item, your stock levels if you plan on managing stock. This will be very good to use to make sure you don't oversell. You can add your skew numbers. You can add the type and the price.

If you like to put in low stock alert to where if you are less than less than one, don't sell or send an email. That's where you'll put that in. And then you have the online checkout portion. Now here we go. Create a share a checkout link. So sell this item online without needing the online store option.

So this will just create a link for this particular item. And if you were to send a email out or a social media post that had the link to this product for your followers to go ahead and purchase right from social media, then this will be the perfect way to do that without building now, a online store option. And then you'll click save. So this is where your item library you'll put in your products for any of your online checkouts that are needed. The service library is for our services. So we did add the one on one console previously With our appointment funnel, so we saw how to walk through this.

And it still has pretty much the same layout as a gnome. But this is a service. So there are some similarities and there's some differences. So we have price durations, that's different. We have cancellation fees. How long does the actual service last if you want to block off extra time, if you want to create a buffer after appointments, and if this can be book online, what team members are able to be attached to this service and when you see it from the customer standpoint, they can see the team member that is connected to this particular service.

And if they have a favorite, if you're not a solopreneur trying to do this If you have actual team members that create do services for you, they can choose the same service provider with each booking. And then if you didn't want to display the price, then you can put in a custom notification here where it takes the button from book online or book and now you've changed it to call us or the price varies based on so that is some additional information if needed. If you don't fill this out, then it will automatically pull in this price. If you had different variations of this service, then you can add the different variations and set the online booking information and the locations for their variation. It will still Underneath this mean one on one console, but there's a different variations. So there may be a one on one console plus strategy that will be a variation of the one on one you could do one of the other and your customer will be able to book that in your modifiers you will see if you want it to make custom orders, then you can put a modifier set in here, we can just very simple you put the name of the modifier.

You can have it where your customers can only select one or if the first option is the usual default then that is what will automatically be inputted. Then you can put your locations in this save and your list for yourself. modifiers will show up here for categories categories is for how your store is organized, how your online items are organized, and how your services are organized. If you have a broad category of earrings and you have multiple pieces of earrings, underneath that, that is your category earrings is your category for one on ones that will be the category for all of my a maybe grocery shopping, and maybe strategy calls. These are all one on ones is one on one person. And to create a category you just simply put a category name and then assign your items to that name.

And as you begin to populate them, they will show up right here We have discounts. You can use discounts on items, you can use discounts in your invoicing to help make life easier. If you're going to go ahead and run a quick sale then you can put a discount name is so maybe like Black Friday, we're going to put a black friday discount in and we'll put our code name, we will put how much it is. So we'll have 10% off the location, we can auto apply this set of items in categories or to a minimum quantity of items. Once that is set, then you can set a schedule for when it is available, and for a date range. So if it's going to be for Black Friday, it's a cyber monday then that's scary.

All that will be said will be for that Friday. So that Monday dates and if you are looking to apply this discount for your POS for your team members, then you will need to select this here for the passcode required so that when whoever is using the code, it can only be inputted by a team member. If you want to keep track of which team member is giving outside and discount, then this will be the perfect way to keep track of that. So we have taxes. This will sync across all the devices for if you have your online store. You have your phone for your card reader, you have an iPad for your POS these taxes would show up across the So each time you made a sale, it wouldn't include these taxes to create a tax, you will have the tax name here the rate which tax which items it will be added to.

And then the locations and then save. And it will be this will be the place that you will come to edit those if they have changed. In your items you Are you also have gift cards for right now they're going through an edit right to update to move this into a separate portion of the square dashboard. So if you look in your main menu, there is a gift cards here. After your gift cards you have units and this is how you measure your image your eye items. So you have by centimeter cubic foot, you know you have gallon pounds so you choose the unit that you need.

Your units can also be set when you input items into your library. So you don't have to just come here to put them in this is if you just want to go through the entire setup process to where you're not looking for things after that. And then like every other portion of the score dashboard, you have a settings tab in the sub menu below there are dining options which are for restaurants you have common void, which is for your peer POS and you can monitor your team members through report so you'll be able to see what they actually voided out With each void with each sale, and then we have inventory where you can set your settings to enable inventory management for invoices and select the locations that you will like. And the last one is online Checkout, which actually takes you to online checkout menu, as you see up here change and you can go to online checkout and create your own links.

So there is a bit of a process of updating their platform. So some things are out of place like that gift cards has now been moved and the online checkouts have been moved. So that is the end of the items.
