Breath Awareness, Balloon Technique, 3/5 Count Technique

Sit in lotus position or crossed-leg style
Bring your pointer finger and thumb together. The yogis believe that meditating with your fingers together this way holds the energy in, not allowing it to escape the body.
Rest your palms on the top of each knee. This can also be done with palms facing up or resting gently by their side.
Close your eyes.
Bringing your attention and awareness to your breath. As you inhale through the nose (pause) and exhale through the nose.
Bringing all of your attention and awareness to your breath, beginning to allow your body to relax as you focus on your inhale (pause) and you're exhale.
On your next inhale, imagine you have a blue balloon inside your abdomen.
As you inhale the balloon expands or inflates.
As you exhale through your nose the balloon contracts or deflates.

Repeat this again. (2nd time)
