The Intention
Today, our intention is to slow down and move with your inhalations and exhalations. Because the breath is the link between our conscious and unconscious mind, the bridge between our mind and body, and the vehicle that brings us back to the present moment, we are going to weave conscious breathing into our workout today. Below, I’ll give you simple breathing cues so that you are able to slow the movements down today and utilize the power of your breath. Moving with your breath in this way enhances muscle engagement especially through the core while growing your body awareness and gently demanding presence within your mind. However, if the breath cues are too much to think about or too distracting, simply notice your breath simply breathe as you move through your workout today. Either way, your mantra throughout this workout and throughout today is just breathing.
