You got to announce to the world that you're a motivational speaker, and that you're happy to speak at your events and your conferences and your meeting. So you need to start telling friends, family, people on Facebook, on LinkedIn on Twitter, every single social media outlet that you're in, you need to let people know you are a speaker, and that you are available for hire, they can reach you. Many of the most popular motivational speakers in the world don't go by that phrase motivational speaking because I consider it somewhat downgraded And they think of the Chris Farley, stereotype caricature. So some people call them peak performance experts. Some people are entrepreneurial experts. Some people are high tech experts. You can motivate in any single field.

You've got to determine how you want to position yourself. The point is, let the world know, let your whole contact base, know that you are available. And they can reach out to you they can hire you, when you're just beginning. You should be happy to speak for free. These days, you can do it through Skype video without having to go anywhere. So go ahead and do that now.
