I realized it's very difficult to make changes to the PowerPoint deck, you've had so many people working on it and vetting it. But here's one thing I would like you to do. And perhaps the best person is a legal counsel in the firm that you're using, but isn't currently acting on your case. I'd like you to send it to somebody where it's legally permissible. Send them your deck, ask them to look at it, call them. 20 minutes later, tell them you're gonna call them in 20 minutes, make sure they look at it and then ask them basic questions.
What is this business? How do we make money? What is our competitive advantage? Why would this be a good investment? Why is this a great market to be in? I want to see if they can toss those answers back to you if they can.
It means you're in great shape. Not only do you have all the numbers stray and all the accounting but the big picture, I'm sure with your company Counting team, your investment banking team, your legal team, that you're going to have a number straight otherwise you wouldn't go through this whole process for the fun of it. But I do want to make sure that you're actually conveying the big picture the answers to those questions. So it would give you a great deal of comfort, peace of mind of knowing that your deck and your presentation is communicating that if not, think about how you can flesh out those points with what you say I'm not asking you to create more slides, but think about how you can really drive those points home with what you say during the presentation.
