That's it. It wasn't that hard. Again, to recap, all you have to do is ask yourself, what's my goal from this presentation again, not trying to win a standing ovation, not trying to go on the speaking circuit. But what is my goal? Do I want this customer to make this purchase? Do I want an approval for this budget?
What's the goal? brainstorm on your messages, narrow it down to the top five. Have an example for each one. If you use PowerPoint, throw a whole lot of texts that you email or hand out to people but only project one image per slide. And then finally, with a cheat sheet, practice your speech on video to the point real, like do that and you are ready. Now, by the way, these are the same techniques people can use to be great speakers, but I hope I've given you the simplest, fastest, easiest way to do it.
And you can get through this speech. Now if you always hate public speaking, that's fine. But one of the things you'll find is if you do a good job, You're actually going to get more positive feedback and you'll start to enjoy public speaking. I'm TJ Walker. Thanks for joining me.
