Donation buttons are pretty unique donation buttons are basically allowing you as long as you have a proper service. These contributions can be intended for fundraising or, you know, dozen types of purposes. But as long as you qualify as a 503 C or a nonprofit, these donations then can actually end up helping you go over that threshold of $10,000 that PayPal automatically will start asking you for, but you can use this for up to $10,000 in accepting donations, before that paypal account has to start seeking approval and show here Here, here we are, you know, here's my letterhead, here's a piece of paper that we have from our foundation. Here's why we're accepting donations and what that money is going towards. Or sometimes you have to qualify for a 503 C. That's all neither here nor there. Of course, if you're accepting donations and that large num amount, then you're probably going to need to naturally get that status or show what these donations are being used for.
Because you don't have to have a 503 status in order to accept $100,000 in donations, if that hundred thousand is all being placed towards building a church, you know, it's really easy to do all of that. But otherwise, donations are more or less specified towards a nonprofit, they don't want you collecting more than $10,000 unless you are a nonprofit, for sure, you can of course, be a for profit and still collect donations that naturally you know, you can even I believe, write that off, tax wise. Course given your country's laws, always make sure you have a proper CPA, but the donations are a great way to of course accept extra tips on the side as well.
