Okay, so now let's talk about your reticular activating system. It's a fancy word to just say that there is information that I arrive to your brain, and there is a filter in front of it. So let me explain. So this is you. Okay, I know I'm terrible at drawing, but this is the best way to do. So, here you have the information that derives from everything.

You have, for example, you have words, you have sounds, you have images. So this is what arrives here. This is the word. Okay. And here, you have a filter that we call our A S. And basically, it's a filter that will prevent us from being crazy. Let me explain.

Here we have so much information so much stimulus from the outside world that is filtered here with just give us the information that we need because you If you are walking down the street, and your brain was able to consciously process everything that was happening, you would become crazy. So the filter is here to just give you to let the information that is important to you pass. And what is interesting is that the speaker here with depends on the belief that you have on your value system, what do you value on your self image, on your content, on your needs, on your goals, on your language and so much more. But what is important here? Have you ever bought a new car and then you started noticing it everywhere? The cars were already there, which we're not focusing on them.

Your filter here was not giving you the information that the new car was on the streets. So what is important here is that people who are low confident they will perceive the world as a low confidence. And this is here. The issue, this is where it all starts. If you want to build your self confidence, you must take care of the filter that you have here. Let me illustrate that with another example, the beliefs.

Let's say that someone is here, someone looks at you, someone from the opposite sex looks at you. Someone who is confident here will interpret this behavior. As Wow, the person is maybe interested in me. And someone who is low confident that has a belief that says, Oh, I'm not good enough, will interpret the person looking at them as, Oh my god, maybe the person is making fun of me. The situation is the same. The person from the opposite sex here is looking at you.

And if you don't have confidence, or if you have a belief that says, I'm not, I'm not good enough. You will think that the person is making fun of you. If you have a belief that is more empowering that says, Oh, I am amazing, or I will give my best in every situation, you will interpret it maybe as, or maybe the person is interested. So it's important to really take care of the beliefs, the values, the sexiness, everything that happens here in your brain. And this is what all the confidence courses out there, they don't do it. They don't take care of that.

They just tell you pay, be confident. Now, you have to take care of that in order to become confident. So this first chapter here will be about taking care of that so that you can become confident and see the world more positively see opportunities instead of problems and have a better self image. It's important that if you perceive yourself better, if you have a better mental picture about yourself, you will perceive the world in a totally new way. Because the opportunity that you are seeking right now is already around you. But you are not focusing on that.

So this is why it's really important to do it. Another example, let's talk here about your language about how you talk to other people and how you talk to yourself. If you're always talking to yourself negatively, saying that you are not good enough that you are a failure, you will perceive the events and you will perceive the world to look for failures, and to look for things that will be aligned with the fact that you think that you are a failure. So you can see here, it's really powerful. What you have inside your brain will define if you're confident or not. So let's start digging into your brain.
