DESCRIPTION: Similar to my feeling toward hating the word pooch, I also despise the pressure to lose the baby weight postpartum because I think a lot of it is unreasonable societal pressures that need to be changed but I also recognize that part of feeling good again is feeling good in your skin which sometimes means, losing the baby weight. For some, this comes easy and for others, it&rsquo;s the hardest pounds they have tried to shed in their whole life. So here are my pointers if you are just feeling like, despite your best efforts, that scale isn&rsquo;t changing.

The first line of weight loss is exercise and diet but this is also a time that your exercise is going to be restricted and you shouldn&rsquo;t be calorie counting especially if you are breastfeeding so optimize your movement within your limits and cut out sugar and alcohol.
