DESCRIPTION: The demands of being a parent are tough as is. All of a sudden you are sitting a lot but you are also lifting strange objects in and out of cars, getting up from awkward positions often with a baby in your arms and maybe that baby is always in your arms while you try to complete your daily tasks. This is tough for all bodies to adjust to but especially for a body that just gave birth and has no abdominals, for this reason, baby ergonomics, or the way in which you do all of these tasks, can be the difference between suffering and surviving.
Another reason why your form matters are that your posture dictates which muscles are used or not used in the movement or task so if you have proper ergonomics, your day-to-day duties can actually contribute to your rebuilding process and result in functional strength.
