DESCRIPTION: 
The biggest threat to forests is deforestation. 
The majority of deforestation occurs in order to clear land for agricultural use

77% is intended just for cattle raising 
Other reasons are from cities creeping further into wilderness areas for the production of things like paper or charcoal. 

Just in the last 20 years, we’ve lost 10% of the world’s wilderness. When forests are cut down, we lose all the biodiversity it once was home for. 

To keep animals from becoming endangered, we need to protect their forest homes. 
Every plant and animal in an ecosystem has a role to play, they’re all interconnected, and they balance each other out. 

Invasive organisms make their way into these ecosystems and mess with this delicate system. Invasives are not native to the area but adapt well to it and reproduce quickly.
