All living things serve as a consumer, producer, or decomposer, which are all necessary for an ecosystem to function. In Disney's The Lion King, Mufasa explains the circle of life. “ when we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass, and so we are all connected in the great circle of life.”

Get outdoors and explore the wildlife in your neighborhood. Create your own circle of life by considering their relationship to each other and how they would be affected without another. Can you see it?
