Lesson number one your epic journey the hero within, you know, every great adventure or journey begins with some type of roadmap. It's fine, if you will, you got to ask yourself why? But the answer is simple is to help light the way and to show us along the path and help us assist us on our journey. Now, I want you to use the power of your imagination to view this course which is called that your goes to micro step method on how to question anxiety and eliminate it as a destructive force as your plan or your roadmap. You know, but what is the most important element of any epic journey? Well, he's the hero of course, and every great epic has a hero and today that is You, you're the hero and this is your journey.

Now the Lord of the Rings would have been a very different book if Frodo Baggins would have decided to walk the path alone. no help. No direction, that think of it. No Gandalf. No legalism Gimli, no Aragorn, no Pippin, and Mary. I mean, I love Pippin, and Mary, but what kind of story would it have been?

Hell, it would have been boring and unfulfilling. If portal Frodo would have been left alone, the Wilshire folk and all of the targets would have been decimated by the evils forces of the Dark Lord Sauron, the great servant of Marga, the great enemy would have easily conquered Middle Earth. Hey, my name is Jamie circosta. And I'm going to be your host during this course. And as we progress on this journey, you're going to learn a lot about me and about my struggles. And of course, you're going to learn about my struggles with anxiety and how I overcame them.

And I'm going to share these techniques with you You now oh, you know, we cannot forget samwise gamgee. Now, although Sam didn't really have any extraordinary gifts or intelligent, some say that Sam's greatest gift was his common sense and his keen powers of observation. But you know what I think? I think the most powerful quality of Sam was he was there for Frodo, Sam, the former gardener back in one of photos, most trusted servants throughout his quest was there when Frodo needed his support, and I want to be your Sam. Oh, and you know what I want you to view this course is your roadmap. I want you to view anxiety as the Dark Lord that we want to overcome.

But you're the hero and you're the one that has to put on the ring and carry the burden. You're the one who has to make the commitment and climb the mountain, and you're the one who has to make the decision right now and I mean right now and be determined as to what kind Have outcome this journey is going to be for you. You have to be committed and you have to see it through. Nobody's going to do it for you. But I'm going to ask you a favor as we get going. I want you to have fun during this process, okay?

I'm truly going to give you some amazing and some incredible information. But you need to have fun in this course. And especially as you apply it into your life, igniting stress already takes too much out of us. Martin Luther King said that we cannot fight hate with hate or anger with anger. And I'm going to add that we cannot add more anxiety to fix anxiety. So the first thing that I'm going to ask you to do is to have fun, get your workbook handy.
