Let's see what it takes to get to that interview call because remember, that resume is much more than adding data, it should achieve the purpose of getting you that interview call. Because worldwide research shows that a hiring manager spends only six to eight seconds in deciding whether to accept or reject your resume. Let me show you a method which is unique where you can break the clutter and have an impactful resume so that the hiring manager calls you for an interview.

In this module, we will see how to write a resume in a storytelling format so that it breaks the clutter and gets you the interview call. These three power steps will ensure that the employer reads your resume and is tempted to call you for an interview. Step one, convert your achievements into stories. What you need to do to differentiate yourself as a from other candidates is converted all your achievements into stories. I have coined a term c t. o. c stands for challenge, which means what is the challenge that you handled in your company? These the technique, how did you go about doing it always for outcome, you need to give a measurable outcome.

So, remember for ease of reference the CTO and you will have stories. Let me share with you two sample points for ease of reference sample one, a candidate who's a civil engineer from the construction industry into project management. Sample two from the manufacturing in As a candidate who's into project management. Step two. Don't be wordy. Your resume should not be more than two pages.

Keep it concise and to the point. Step three. customizing your resume. for customizing your resume, you need to take action on two fronts. Action one, select keywords, which are related to your area of expertise and match it with the job description. Make them bold action to again, select areas of your achievements and make them bold but they should be matching with the job description.

So try and find that connect between what the job requires and what your achievements are.
