Now that you've added your tasks updated their status, let's go over how to print them out. Let's go ahead and print out all of our high priority tasks. So I'm going to select the first one, and shift click on the last one. Now, just like any of our other apps within Outlook printing is done in the backstage, so we'll come up and click on the File tab, and click Print. From here, we need to choose our settings. Now because we're printing out individual tasks, we're going to choose the memo style.

We'll come over and click Preview, so we can see exactly what it's going to print out. We'll come over and click our print options. If there were attachments, we could tell it to print out the attachments with it. We could choose a range of them. So if we decided we didn't want the second task in our list, we could tell it to print one and three. If we needed to print out multiple copies, we could do that as well.

Choose our printer Click Print. Let's go back over print table style. The Table Styles going to print out the list of tasks within our to do list. So if we went to print a list out instead of the individual tasks with their detail, we would pick the table style. Now if you need to include more of your tests than those that you show in your view, remember, you can go in and change your view. So let's make sure we're on the Home tab, click on current view, click Change view and select exactly what you want to see what you want to pick from to print.

So one of the details we could come into this click on a heading to put them in that order. So if we wanted to print everything that did not have a complete date on it, we could choose all of these. Come over to File, Print, memo preview and it will print out each of those Keep in mind just by highlighting items within your to do list and coming to the table style won't cause it to print just the highlighted tasks for the table style. Table style will always default to printing the entire table of tasks that are on your list. So if you only want to print certain ones in the table style, you need to go in and change the view so it matches exactly what you want to print. Now let's do a quick review of our tasks.

In the section we went over the tabs and ribbons, remember, our default tab is always going to be the Home tab. And it's going to contain the most use functions and features for the task app. To create a new task Ctrl Shift K or make sure you're within the task app. Go to the Home tab, new group and click new task. From within the untitled task you would fill in your subject. Pick your start date, the due date, set a status whether you've started working on it or not the priority and then fill in the details for the task, click close and Save once you're done to save it to your task list, recurring tasks are created the same way we would go to the Home tab, new group new task.

Once we filled in our information, we would come to the recurrence group and click recurrence and set our recurrence pattern and the range of the recurrence. Once that information is set, we would click OK. And then save our task. Don't forget, you can also create tests from an email message you received. So let's go over to our email app. All we need to do is click on the email that we want to create the task from, drag it to the task app icon. Once you do that is going to open up the task.

The subject will be the subject from the email, it's going to put the body of the email message into the body of the task. You fill in the information and click close and save. Don't forget Once you've created your task list and added all the tasks to it, you need to keep the information updated the status once it's completed if it's been deferred, and also in the future. De changes. Double clicking on a task will take you into the task details so that you can update the information. Once you've updated the information, click close and save to save it.

You can add the task to your sidebar by hovering over the task app, clicking on dock the peak and it will dock it to the sidebar of the app that you're in. Click the X to close it out. And printing tests are done the same way within all the apps you always go to the backstage through the File tab. Click Print and choose exactly what you want to print. Whether the table style which is the list of your tasks, or memo style, which are the individual details for the tasks
