When standing in Zone 3 on the HerQuest Emotional Awareness Scale you feel a range of emotions from #16 Discouraged, Dismayed, Rejected, Regretful to #12 Disappointment, Drained, Perplexed, Misunderstood.  
Many people in this emotional stance feel trapped within conflicting emotions triggered by thoughts that are tied to disappointing interactions with other people.
The 8 ingredients to self-care in Zone 3 are used to foster self-compassion, which will allow you to release the feelings of embarrassment and being misunderstood.  By releasing the disappointment you have had in yourself and in others, the feeling of being perplexed and drained physically, mentally, and spiritually will resolve.
