Hi, Shelly Murrell, here, professional copywriter and solo entrepreneur. Welcome to the introduction to better and easier strategic planning for small business owners and solo entrepreneurs. You know, in our line of work as a small business owners and solo entrepreneurs every day is magical, bringing all kinds of opportunities for success, growth and development. But that doesn't necessarily mean that we should jump on everything that comes our way. And one way to help us to make sure that we're focusing our efforts on what matters is to have a strategic plan in place. Because oftentimes what happens and I'm no exception, this has happened to me.

We have all kinds of ideas and aspirations and goals in our heads, but we fail to get them on paper and not getting them onto paper and in a comprehensive and clear plan. For a way forward means you're just chasing after one squirrel, you know from one squirrel to another down endless rabbit holes, and you have nothing to show for it in the end. So, if you want to introduce a refined organization and clarity into your business, if you want to better visualize your ideas, your goals and your aspirations for better productivity and success, if you want to develop and apply effective work and resource usage and strategies. And finally, if you want to create detailed a detailed path forward to achieve your long and short term goals, then the best thing to do is to develop a strategic plan by carrying out a strategic planning exercise, which is what this course will help you do.

So for small business owners and solo entrepreneurs who are looking for a better path forward to success, growth and development. And that's what you're going to produce because they are essential to conducting an your strategic planning exercise and your overall plan. Then we're going to look at an outline and what the content should be that you provide in your final report, which constitutes the exercise that you're going to conduct.

And then we look at what project management and to do lists are essential. These are the things that help you carry out your activities.
