Welcome back. As covered in earlier segment, we have noted that it is our subconscious that triggers our intentions, actions and behaviors. It is really not our conscious mind at play here. We are practically controlled by our subconscious if we are not careful subjecting ourselves to such invisible thoughts means that we are not in control of our responses to threats, opportunities for even choices, they're around us. On the upside, the subconscious can filter out what we deem as unusable but on the downside, he will also filter out great opportunities based on outdated information that are stored within us. The worst part is we may not even be aware that we Have automatically rejected opportunities that are coming to us because our subconscious would have triggered responses to shut out this information as our subconscious absorbs anything that we encounter, unless we are careful with our day to day interaction with the external world, we will quickly be manipulated by our subconscious mind without us even knowing it.

We have countless subconscious thoughts swirling inside us. If they are constructive, they drive us forward. If they are not, these subconscious thoughts will become invisible blockages that impede us from taking positive actions towards our goals. These are some of the common excuses we hear about people not achieving their goals. Very often these are a result of our subconscious blocks at play. I remember a client once came to me about her confidence issue.

At that time, she has decided to put in some money to develop a new product. She went ahead with product design RND and even decided to trademarked it. But then something gave her paws. She became completely worried, and somehow her confidence plunged. She became really stressed out and decided to visit me to find out why she has a total lack of confidence. during the session, she was shocked to realize that a fillip business that didn't take off a few years ago had reignited her anxiety for her.

She has totally forgotten about this episode. But that sense of loss and failure that she experienced then, was imprinted in her subconscious mind. Somehow, a new business venture has once again triggered that sense of loss and fear. Not only does she felt the same negative emotions rising up inside her, it also stopped her from proceeding further. In many other cases that I have encountered, there are people who unconsciously block themselves from receiving love, help, or even wealth, because deep inside, they don't feel deserving of all these things. Yet at conscious level, they don't seem to know that such blockages exist inside them.

Our subconscious mind very quickly absorbs everything that is happening around us. If we are not discerning, chances are we will take everything that we encounter at face value. So where do we get all these subconscious blocks from one key area I want to discuss today Is conditioning through our belief system. We usually receive this conditioning through our family, social network, and any close association. We can further break this down to four different areas, childhood imprints, social conformity, insecurities, traditions and beliefs. We all get bombarded with information as soon as we are born.

Between then and seven years old, we are most likely to build up core beliefs that shaped our behavior. Our social network also influenced us deeply by pure Association. If we are part of an open minded community, we tend to have broader, less rigid mindset. On the contrary, if your key associates are close minded, you tend to conform to that behavior to you may not be conscious that you are enclose mind because you will assume that this is the norm. Of course, insecurities and traditions also play a big part in shaping our subconscious mind. If your mindset is constantly constrained by insecurities and traditions, then it is unlikely that you will bring yourself out of the box to do anything innovative.

According to sociologies, mores mercy. Each of us will go through three periods in our lives that transform our values. The imprint period, that is from the time we are born to the age of seven, the modeling period that starts from eight years old to 13 and the socialization period from 13 years old to 21. For detailed information on the three stages, I have enclosed a PDF for your reference according to Mr. Massey, During these periods, we develop values and core beliefs in a profound way. Especially during the infant period. we absorb everything around us like sponge without filter.

This is also because during this period, we lacked the ability to reason and will regard everything as truth. Unfortunately, the confusion and blind beliefs associated during this period can lead to early development of trauma and false beliefs regarding self and their external world. The understanding of right and wrong and good or bad, are largely based on bias imprints if our immediate environment etiquette us that way. Similarly, the modeling period and the socialization period are durations by which we are largely influenced by our peers and people that we look up to. We watch how our friends family and heroic figure Behave and we try to model after them. At these stages, people develop habits, behaviors, relationships and reasoning based on such experiences.

Take for example, there are communities that accept polygamous marriages. Those who engage in such relationships consider them a norm, because it is sanctioned by the immediate community. However, if such relationship practices brought to another group with very different background, they are likely to consider unacceptable or even illegal in a very personal encounter, I remember growing up as a left hander, and there will be people who will put me down because of that during my first week in kindergarten teacher decided to force me into using my right hand to ride To her writing with left hand is unacceptable because it is just not what most people do. I remember crying on my way home because I felt miserable and mistreated. At the same time, I'm worried about not being able to write with my right hand. To me, my teacher is an authority figure, she must be right.

There must be something wrong with me. situations like this can create false beliefs based on another person's biasness. As a five year old, I could not reason hence I adopted myself. If my parents had not stepped into correct that mindset, I would have grown up thinking I'm abnormal for writing with my left hand. I'm just trying to give you some examples of how we have been victim of misguided beliefs and many a times we unconsciously adopted them into our lives. What we see here are common quote we hear when we are growing up.

When I was young children are often told to keep quiet and not to voice their opinions. We are not allowed to talk in the presence of adults because it is considered rude. When we have guests, we are not supposed to speak unless spoken to. Because of such traditional values in my community, people are less vocal and tend not to stand up for their truth later on in their lives. Even as adults now, we basically conform to rules and regulations and do not welcome anyone who will shake up the status quo. Many also become less confident in public speaking because it is just a trait that was not encouraged when we were growing up.

Similarly, there are many more restrictive viewpoints about money and gender differences that have shaped our society and how we operate. Many of us behaviors would have been shaped to conform to someone else's bias, behavior, values and beliefs. It is really crucial to dig deep to find our own truth, not someone else's. Another main contributor for subconscious blocks is personal experience. Whether those experiences are highly positive or negative, you will create an emotional imprint that will register in our subconscious mind. Even experiences satisfying your subconscious will trigger respond to embrace similar future events.

But if your experience is extremely bad, your subconscious will trigger default behavior to reject any future opportunities. Fundamentally, we are at risk if we allow our subconscious to dictate what we embrace in life. experiences are the same. A past experience that produces great result doesn't mean the next one that comes along will be satisfying to in the same breath, a better experience doesn't mean that all future experiences will be bad. The key here is to be extremely self aware or else we will get trapped in a cycle that will not produce ideal results. subconscious blocks that arise from negative experiences such as fear, failure, sadness, anger and etc.

Extremely powerful imprints that many people find hard to release. As mentioned in our earlier session, emotion is not controlled at conscious level. Which means if you have not looked into your delete development, chances are you will continue to be controlled by these emotions even when the best opportunities show up for you. The problem is, you may even reject these opportunities quite unconsciously. We have addressed where we establish our beliefs and core values. Now I want you to take another step to assess if your values and beliefs are relative truth or absolute truth.

Relative truth refers to truth that may or may not be agreed by all. For example, some culture groups believe that we should not eat pork or beef. However, some do not agree. There are also certain groups that believe in arranged marriage, but the modern society no longer agree that this method of establishing a love relationship is appropriate. Or these are derived from different relative truth. They are subjected to biased opinions, and no one can really claim that they are absolutely right.

As for absolute truth, this refers to truth the agreed upon by all. It is not based on any biased beliefs, feelings, or misinterpretation. Of course, throughout the history of time, many has debated if absolute truth actually exists. It is also because of this, that we should be even more careful about subjecting ourselves to beliefs that have no absolute foundation. If you have a history of making decisions based on relative truth, I hope you will expand your mindset to see beyond the invisible boundaries that you've built yourself into. By no means am I encouraging you to defy anyone?

But I'm just suggesting that we can all take ourselves out of the comfort zone sometimes to explore wider perspective events and relative truth do not support current or future events. The universe is in constant change. It is when we flow with it that we will be in the flow of abundance.
