HUMINT is as old as human interaction. We all try to work out what someone is thinking or what they mean and how their body language interacts with their speech. Are they lying or are they trustworthy? Typically, we are correct about what we think human behavior means around 50% of the time. Even experienced police officers are incorrect half of the time when they are assessing the veracity of a suspect's statement.
So, what this course does provide you with the basic tools of appreciating human behavior when interacting with someone for information. Whether you are a business analyst, headhunter or where this course originated - a human intelligence operator, you will be better equipped to appreciate whether you are being lied to and how to get (good) information from people.
