Chapter 13: The Field and Its Knower; Kshetra Kshetrajna Vibhagha Yoga
In this chapter Krishna details the nature of purusha and prakriti, the knower and the known. Krishnaa begins by discussing Kshetra and Kshetrajña because those words do not have the connotations imposed upon purusha and prakriti by the Sankhyas. Krishna also discusses jnana, especially in relationship to the values and attitudes of a mind that is mature and ready for knowledge (brahma-vidya).
Verse 12: What is to be known, that I will tell clearly, knowing, which one gains immortality, that Brahman, which, it is known, has no beginning, is limitless, neither existent (as an object) nor non-existent.
