DESCRIPTION: Chapter 3 Karma-yoga In chapter 2, Krishna explains Samkhya, which is scientific knowledge of Atman or Self known as atman-jnana or Self-Knowledge. Then further he criticizes religious activities and rituals based on myths for self-fulfillment (karma-kanda). Lastly, he explains Karma Yoga. This leads Arjuna to further confusion in deciding if he should fight or not. Arjuna says, &ldquo;Divine Krishna, you are confusing me with your contradictory statements on Jnana and Karma, which both lead to moksha. Why would I not choose the patha of Jnana Yoga instead of Karma Yoga, where I have to take part in this battle involving killings.
