DESCRIPTION: Chapter 9 As It Is BG 9.1: Shree Bhagavan said: O Arjun, because you are not envious of Me, I shall now disclose to you this very confidential knowledge and wisdom (guhya-vidya), upon knowing which you will be released from the miseries of material existence. BG 9.2: This knowledge is the Supreme of all sciences and the most profound of all secrets. It refines (Pavitram) those who hear it. It is individually attainable, in accordance with dharma, easy to practice, and everlasting in effect. “Bhakti destroys the three poisons—pāp (sins), bīja (the seed of sins), avidyā (the ignorance in the heart).” BG 9.3: O defeater of enemies, people who have no faith in this dharma (ashardhanah) are unable to attain Me. They repeatedly come back to this world (samasara) in the cycle of birth and death. BG 9.4: My unmanifest formless Cosmic Consciousness pervades the entire cosmic manifestation (Jagat). All living beings’(Jivas) reside in Me, but I do not inhabit in them....
